Spiral Chapter 12

*

About a month later....

David was looking at his monitor but it could have been blank for all the attention he was giving it. He couldn't for the life of him figure out what Perry wanted with the ledgers. It didn't take this long to get a loan no matter how bad the economy was. He hated not knowing and also hated this new closeness between Josh and Perry.

Another person he didn't like was Kamea. Regardless that she was hired as a contract worker, he still hated that the ledgers were going to her for auditing. He wasn't worried that she would find anything, he was too smart and any mistakes would be Sarah's fault. No, if anything bad was to happen, it would be Josh's fault as he was always fucking thing up.

David swiveled his chair around to look out his living room window and remember when he first met Josh in college. They had become instant friends. Josh was a genuinely kind person even if he could be weak and too trusting. He was handsome enough and many a girls were attracted to him but Josh wasn't the type to take advantage of the college slut. He wanted the girlfriend and the steady relationship.

Their friendship was going great until Josh met Perry. It was he who had to let Josh know what Perry had done with his girlfriend. But here they were eleven years later with Perry back and trying to take his place in Josh's life.

David stood and moved towards the window. From the tenth floor of this condo, the view was spectacular; blue skies sprinkled with white fluffy clouds and the beach not too far away. Being on this floor gave him a feeling of superiority. Sighing, he turned back to his desk and got his phone.

"I need you to check out two people for me. Kamea Smith and Perry Bailey."

"When do you need the information by?" the voice on the other end asked.

"ASAP."

The call ended and David made another.

"Meet me at the hotel in one hour."

"Oh God....Josh....Ah...."

Josh sucked a nipple into his mouth as he continued his heavy thrusting. It was like he was starved for her and groaned when her fingers grasped his shoulders even tighter. He released the nipple allowing it to pop out of his mouth as he leaned up to look down on her. She was panting and her eyes seemed glazed over. 'This orgasm was going to be a big one,' he thought and smiled. There was something about bring her to pleasure that gave him the greatest satisfaction, as if he was the world's true Casanova.

He bent to kiss her again, hard, and felt the initial contraction of her hot pussy. He pushed harder and faster and the contractions came quicker.

"Josh....Josh...." she screamed and dug her nails in as her walls collapsed on him. It seemed almost impossible to withdraw from her demanding body.

"Christ...." He said into her neck as he collapsed on her after empting himself in her for the second time in an hour.

When he came through the door, they tried to do the casual greeting but soon found themselves kissing and frantically removing each other's clothes. It was quick but satisfying and they both wanted more. Josh couldn't believe he was able to get hard again so soon, but found himself easily aroused with her.

He moved to her side and looked at her. She was glowing. Sex and multiple orgasms looked radiant on her, or maybe it was the pregnancy. He thought back to when they had gone out to dinner, how men had openly stared at her.

She turned to look at him through half open eyes then kissed him softly on his lips. He wrapped his arms around her and held her close. Before long they were both asleep.

As soon as she came into the hotel room, David pushed her to her knees. She reached up and unzipped his pants, please with the roughness. It was the reason she gladly came when he called, she liked how hard he fucked her.

As soon as his cock was out, he shoved it into her mouth and held her head while he pumped his hips hard, pushing himself down her throat. After a few minutes he stopped, pulled her up and turned her around to face the table. He pulled up her skirt aligned himself and pushed into her.

"You slut...you like it rough don't you?"

"Yes, fuck me hard."

He pounded into her, pushed up her shirt and grabbing her breast, squeezing them roughly as he fucked her mercilessly.

"Oh yes....yes, fuck...."

It didn't take long before they came, David holding to her tightly as he grunted and she screamed. He pressed her into the desk as laid on her back both breathing heavily. His flaccid cock slipped from her and she could feel their combined fluids running down her legs.

"That was great. What got into you?" She wanted a repeat as soon as possible.

"Your fucking brother is being an idiot again." David stepped away from Dana and pulled up his pants.

Dana stood up and pushed down her skirt frowning. "I don't understand. I saw him a few days ago and he seemed happy. Said the company was doing better..."

"...Yeah that's for now except he's hooked back up with a college buddy who he should know he can't trust but none-the-less he allows him to meddle in the companies accounts."

David went to the bathroom and washed his face. He needed to cool off and Dana was the closest person on such short notice. He didn't want to go to the office and fucked Darlene especially since he was getting tired of her anyway. Yes, it's about time he became real friendly with Sarah. He came out of the bathroom and Dana when in.

"I have to go. Have to do some things before I get to the office."

"Fine, I'll be away with the husband this weekend. I'll call when I get back."

Dana came out the bathroom and got her purse off the floor. "Let me know what's going on with Josh. I want to know how the company's doing."

"Why the sudden interest in the company?"

Dana looked at him puzzled. "He's my brother. I'm concerned with what's going on with him," she said casually as she checked herself in the mirror one last time before she went to the door. "Later."

"Yeah, later."

They both left the hotel room.

((~~!~~))

As Dana drove to her destination, she kept thinking about David's question about her sudden interest in the company. Yes, she wanted the company to fail...well not completely fail, but do badly enough that Josh would need help and she would be there to give it. She wanted to be Josh's saviour for once instead of him always saving her.

In her opinion, Josh's main problem was that he was much too trusting, much like their father. He was a romantic at heart, always believing in the good in people and always willing to help. He was one of the good guys. He didn't even take advantage of the high school and college sluts and there were many. No, he was the type who would have married his high school sweetheart if she hadn't cheated on him.

Now he was having problems with the company and her gut was telling her it was stemming from David. But she wanted David to continue to do what he was doing. Josh wouldn't be able to hold out much longer even with this new contact. It was only a matter of time. When the time was right, she would save the day.

Perry looked at the numbers again. There was no way to hide it; someone was stealing from the Trent Advertising and Kamea was the only person he trusted. He needed Josh to extend her contract as he wanted her to go as far back to locate the beginning of the theft. She also had to be the person to 'find it'. Somehow Josh would believe it coming from her than him. He was not willing to take the chance of David manipulating the situation and Josh again.

Perry turned to look out his window and remember the day he fought with Josh and David's involvement. The memory came like undiluted bile in the pit of his stomach. Josh walking in on him and the girl who was wasn't suppose to be his girlfriend. He'd believed David, tried to trust him since he was Josh's friend and all it did was cost him the friendship of a fellow student he'd greatly admired.

On the day he was leaving college, he saw Josh and gathered the courage to approach him. Perry explained he didn't know they were dating; David had told him otherwise. He had profusely apologized for the incident and hoped Josh would forgive him. It was the last time they spoke until that day in the restaurant.

Yes, Kamea had to find the theft. He wanted this to be clean and for Josh to have the ability to press charges if he wanted to. He also didn't want to give David the ability to twist this around and pin any of it on Sarah. Kamea was innocent enough that if something happened, he could guide her out of it. He was going to have to be very, very careful but he was sure he could pull it off.

The beautiful woman with long black hair wrapped elegantly in chignon stepped out of the elevator and stood by the receptionist desk. Megan wasn't there as she was off doing Darlene's bidding so Darlene greeted her instead.

"Hello. Are you looking for someone?" Darlene asked.

"Hello, my name is Mrs. Morales and I'm looking for Mr. Trent. Is he in?"

"Oh, hello Mrs. Morales, it's nice to meet you finally," Darlene extended her hand and Mrs. Morales accepted. "No...I'm afraid Mr. Trent isn't here at the moment but I can be of assistance."

"Oh...I was hoping to speak with him about the ad." Looking beyond Darlene's shoulder, she didn't see Sarah. "Is Sarah here by any chance?"

Darlene frowned. Sarah had gone to the fourth floor and would be back shortly but she could make it seem...

"Ms. Morales?" Sarah asked coming around the corner.

Ms. Morales turned and smiled openly at Sarah. "Sarah, I was just asking for you. How are you doing?"

"I'm doing fine. I'm still working on your project. Josh, I mean Mr. Trent isn't here he should be in shortly."

"Oh, that's fine. I was wondering if it would be a problem for me to see what's been done so far?"

"Yes...I mean it won't be a problem. I'll be happy to show you." Sarah turned, "I'm working in the conference room...more space to spread out."

Sarah turned back to see the anger on Darlene's face and smiled.

The ringing phone startled Kamea awake. She looked around for the phone and saw it on the night stand, but when she tried to move for it Josh's arm tighten on her.

"They'll leave a message," he said without opening his eyes.

Suddenly he pulled her closer and his other arm came around to hold her more securely to him. She tried to glance back at the phone but was unable to so she snuggled closer to him and forgot about it.

Soon his phone buzzed, she could hear it but he made no move to see who it was.

"Don't you wa...."

"...No. If it's the office David's there."

He was doing every thing he could not open his eyes. She smiled and kissed his chest.

"Hmmm...." he smiled.

((~~!~~))

"I love what you've done so far Sarah," Ms. Morales said looking at the drawings.

"Thank you," Sarah accepted the compliment proudly. "But what was the idea you wanted to tell me about?"

Sarah was still trying to stall. She had sent Josh a text message but had yet to receive a response.

"I don't think my idea is as good as yours Sarah. I really love what you've done so far."

"Thank you but I'd still like to hear your ideas. You're as much apart of this as we are."

Ms. Morales feeing comfortable with Sarah began speaking about her vision for the ad.

The knock on the door woke Josh then Kamea. She looked around at the clock and saw that it was 1:30pm. They'd been asleep all this time. The person knocked again more insistently. Josh became annoyed and grabbed his pants off the floor, and pulled them on angrily.

"Coming!" he yelled but he saw Kamea running to the bathroom from the corner of his eye and he was sure she had her hand over her mouth. Angrily he reached for his polo shirt and pulled it on. He wanted to see to her but she'd slammed the bathroom door shut so he went to answer the door.

Throwing the door open, he was surprised to see Perry.

"Josh?"

"Perry?"

Josh returned to the bedroom and heard Kamea throwing up. He opened the bathroom door as soon as he heard the toilet flush.

"Get her to bed," Perry said as Josh reached over to pick her up.

"No...I'm fine. I'm fine. It still happens ever so often. Please, put me down I need to brush my teeth."

Josh gently put her to stand but kept his arms around her for support. Perry stood by also feeling the same.

"Kamea, are you alright?" Perry asked.

"Yes, yes, I'm fine. Every now and then I get an eruption of morning sickness. Please both of you excuse me."

Kamea closed the door and both men looked at each other before Perry looked at the crumpled bed then back at Josh.

Josh followed Perry's gaze as it went to the bed then back to him. He turned and left the room to gather his shoe and socks. When he returned, he was fully dressed and Kamea was exiting the bathroom. He moved to her but Perry was closer.

"Are you feeling better now? Do you want something to eat? Crackers? Anything?" Perry asked.

Kamea looked at Perry then Josh then back to Perry before answering. "No...thank you. I'm fine." She wanted the focus off of her. "Why are you here?"

"Lets get you seated and we can discuss that."

"Here let me help you," Josh said as he moved around Perry to take her arm.

"No...I'm fine. I can walk really. I have more months of this to go through."

Perry noticed she didn't look at Josh and he was trying to not to look at her too much either.

Josh went for his phone and read the text message from Sarah.

"Shit!" He closed his eyes. "I have to go. Kamea are you sure you're alright?"

"Is everything okay?" Perry asked.

Kamea looked on waiting for an answer to the same question.

Josh let out a deep breath. "Yeah...I'm sure it. Sarah's a bright girl."

"Sarah?" Kamea questioned.

"I'll explain later. I have to get going. Are you...."

"...Go Josh...I'm here. I'll take care of her."

Kamea closed her eyes and was now eager to find out who'd call. When she opened her eyes Josh was looking at her. He took a step towards her but she stopped him.

"I'm fine," she smiled. "Thank you."

She turned away and headed for her desk and kept her back to him until she heard her apartment door close behind him. She turned to Perry.

"I'm sorry Perry....what was it you wanted to see me about?"

Perry looked at the closed door then back to her.

"Kamea...we've only just met, but I want you to know I'm a friend." Kamea looked on puzzled. "If you need someone to talk with, you can trust me."

Kamea swallowed. "Thank you Perry," she said softly, "but I'm fine. You have something you wanted to show me?"

Perry decided not to push. He handed her the papers and they got down to new project at hand.
